【Ministry of Health and Welfare】Application for compensation for quarantine and epidemic prevention at home
1.Eligibility of subsidy objects:
1) Receive home quarantine or isolation notice
2) No violation of quarantine or quarantine regulations
3) Having a residence permit: non-nationals, people from the mainland, Hong Kong or Macao residents, who apply for a residence permit after entry, and the period of residence and quarantine period overlap, may be deemed to have a residence certificate.
Supplementary note: Overseas Chinese or foreign students freshman may apply for epidemic prevention compensation
(Due to the date of issuance of the residence permit for overseas Chinese students is the date of entry, there is a period of requarantine during their stay)
New students from Hong Kong and Macao are not allowed to apply for epidemic prevention compensation
(Due to the date of issuance of the residence permit for freshmen from Hong Kong and Macao is not the date of entry, the quarantine period will not overlap)
2.Subsidy amount:
NT$1000 per day during home quarantine or isolation - * NT$3000 for 3 days of home quarantine*Independent epidemic prevention and independent health management shall not apply for epidemic prevention compensation
3.Application period:
The application shall be filed within 2 years from the day after the end of isolation, and shall not be accepted if it is overdue.
4.Uploadable documents required for application:
a. Home quarantine/quarantine notice electronic file
b. Cover copy of bankbook of Taiwan's financial institutions (banks)
c. Closure letter (signature on system support line, please use mouse or finger to sign)
d. Residence permit
e. Legal representative's consent form (minor under 20 years old)
5.Application method:
Please prepare the documents in point 4 by yourself and apply online by yourself.

6.Issued after application:
The documents shall be distributed within 30 days after the application is prepared. However, it can be extended for 30 days if necessary.
